💡 Why I Made This

I wanted a simple, powerful tool to:

• Instantly know who sold or leaked my email address
• Organize trial accounts, newsletters, and services
• Test engagement with different versions of emails

Instead of guessing where spam came from, I wanted proof. Gmail’s +tag feature gives that — and EmailTag automates it.

Hi! I’m Jeremiah O’Neal, an IT and cybersecurity enthusiast with a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from National University. I created this project to help people stay in control of their inbox, their privacy, and their time.

📦 How to Install (Manually)

1. Clone or download this repo:

   git clone https://github.com/we6jbo/emailtag.j03.page.git
   

2. Open Chrome and go to: chrome://extensions/
3. Enable Developer Mode (top right corner)
4. Click “Load unpacked”
5. Select the downloaded folder

You’re done! The EmailTag icon should now appear in your toolbar.
